Jesus said, “ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) That is an exclusive message. It means that only those who follow Jesus will be saved. What if we decide for ourselves that whatever way we want to go is alright? The result of our sinful lives is death (Romans 6:23). If we continue down the path that goes against God, we will never be saved. Salvation is a gift (Ephesians 2:8), so nothing we ever do will make us able to earn it.
The Apostle Paul wrote, “Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?” (Romans 6:2-3). Are you baptized “into his death”? Do you know what that means? If not, don't feel bad. Most churches are not teaching the Bible Truth about salvation. When you look for a Church Family, make sure it looks like the One Church that Jesus built (Matthew 16:18). Make sure it teaches what Jesus taught.
At the North Columbus church of Christ, we believe we are trying our best to look like the Church that Jesus established. We accomplish this through building each other up, teaching others about Jesus, and holding to the New Testament as our guide. Join us. We are a family of Christians that want YOU to become part of what God is doing through the saints in His Kingdom.
